Lava Fountain Trial
Day 3 of 5
Place and hold fountains to draw Lava Oil.
How it is fought
No epic monster, but not a quiet day either: gather Lava Oil, and fight the clans mining theirs.
How to play the day
Place Lava Fountains on the map and mine them for Lava Oil, which is what the Tartaros stage runs on. Five over the twenty-four hours, six with the last Basilisk reward, and only two standing at a time.
TakeYour battle captain with your best troops, or Dustan for the Conquest Points. And Stror, for the mining.
- Send the battle captain, with your best troops, to a fountain that still has fights in it.
- When it runs out of fights, pull him out and put Stror on it to mine.
- Place another fountain and send the battle captain — or Dustan — there.
- Repeat. The fighter moves on; Stror stays behind.

Clan Rank Points
Mining speed rests on the tier of the troops and on how many. Below what the stage asks for there is a penalty, and above it your gathering speed still sets the pace.
No epic monster: the fighting is against clans mining their own fountains. Each fountain allows a limited number of fights, set by its level, which follows your guardsmen.
The cheapest Conquest Points in the calendar: no irrecoverable losses, and reviving costs a thirtieth of the usual.
Ask the clanHave the clan switch on the +1000 % bonus to Conquest Points earned on defence.

The fighting at the fountains scores a side event of its own. Every fight pays Lava Seals, and the Seals are the score.
Its own goals pay Lava Oil, and clearing all of them pays about as much as a fountain does.
The top hundred take Lava Oil in tiers, and a title with it. First place carries 25 % crypt exploration efficiency and 10 % captains’ Leadership; the ninety-nine behind, 10 % and 5 %.
