Trials of Olympus

Clan tournamentsEvery 24 days5 days long

A clan tournament built as five separate trials, three fought and two gathered. It requires a clan capital and at least 55 members.

How it runs

Trial of the Chimera, epic Chimera squads on clan raids. Trial of the Basilisk, epic Basilisk squads with the Hero. Lava Fountain Trial, placing and holding fountains to draw Lava Oil. Trial of Tartaros, spending that oil on the Tartaros crypts. Trial of Briareus, epic Briareus squads with three captains.

Rewards

Three purses, and they do not work the same way.

Clan ranking

The clan ranking pays Scientific Tractates, Dragon Coins, Torch of Olympus fragments, Olympus Chests, and Proof of Victory — the percentage bonus the clan carries into the next tournament.

Hermes’ Loyalty Shop

Hermes’ Loyalty Shop, bought against Winged Drachmas, which survive from one tournament to the next.

Everything unmarked can be had somewhere else, so it is only worth buying when the Drachmas would otherwise sit unspent. The two marked cannot: the fragments, and the Olympus City appearance, which carries a permanent 25 % strength bonus.

Battle pass

A battle pass, moved along by Scrolls of Olympus, which the trials themselves pay.

It pays Gold, Torch of Olympus fragments, Artifact Summoning Keys and more besides.

One free track, and two more that are paid for. The tracks add up rather than replace one another, and each is richer than the one below it.

None of it touches the clan score: the paid tracks make your own haul bigger and nothing else.

How the tournament works

Five days, one stage a day, on a twenty-four day cycle. Your clan is drawn into a division against two others.

The clan is ranked on Clan Rank Points, and those only move when a member’s own Rank Points move. Turning up every day and clearing your own targets is the whole contribution.

Three of the five days are fights and two are gathering.

Talents are set once, at the start of the tournament. There are two sets and they add together: clan talents, assigned by the Leader or a Superior, and individual talents, which every player sets for themselves. Between them they make the bonus that applies to the Clan Rank Points the whole event is scored on.
